We’re are pleased to announce that Darran Chapman has joined County Insurance Services Ltd as our Chief Technical Officer. Darran joined County on 14th November 2023.
Darran has vast experience within the IT industry and has previously worked for a multi-national service provider and was responsible for the infrastructure of the company.
After being made redundant Darran went on to set up his own company helping other businesses develop their IT systems, with a large focus on data and security. Having worked with County previously as a consultant he has now joined our team in a more permanent capacity.
On joining the firm, Darran said: “I am looking to forward to working with County and enhancing their systems with the latest technology available.”

Darran is an experienced scuba diving instructor and he has had the opportunity to explore various seas around the world. Among his many adventures, his most cherished experience was diving in the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, an achievement he realized a few years ago.
County Insurance Services Ltd, an independently owned company, already insure over 3,000 thatch and non-standard households across the UK and have recently obtained Chartered Insurance broker status. The company is also celebrating 40 years of trading.
