On Monday 1st December County colleagues and clients were entertained at the annual Stamford Fatstock Dinner held in the George Hotel, Stamford, which remains one of Lincolnshire’s most prestigious venues set amongst Stamfords picturesque Georgian stone buildings.
The beautiful old coaching inn stands opposite the historic cattle market site now used as public parking. The event is a chance for Lincolnshire and Rutland farmers to come together and celebrate agriculture. Over 80 guests enjoyed a wonderful traditional roast beef dinner and £1,100 was raised for Lincolnshire Rural and Agricultural Chaplaincy, a worthwhile cause that helps farmers and rural communities across the County.
