A very nice day was had by all and the weather was very kind. Our stand was decked out with our hand-made banners in company colours, marking our 40th year anniversary of trading in 2024. The smell of the Fillet steak rolls kept a steady stream of existing customers and prospective new customers happy. The stand was full to capacity a few times and some of our existing customers found they had to come back in order to get a seat. Even the hay bales were full with people.
Lisa Mosson and Tish Phillips attended the Chairman’s drinks party up at the main arena in the members area and meet Basil the chairman. They had chairs laid out on the lawns over watching the very high standard of show jumping.
We had sponsored a sheep class, the Primitive Breeds sheep Champion. Elyse Heron and Oliver Burns presented Bucks County Show Cup to the Primitive Breeds Sheep Champion during the grand parade.
Also, a congratulations to the winner of our Olympics Quiz, David North, who took the lead with the highest score and won our hamper. All in all a grand day was had by all.
