We were delighted to attend the Bedfordshire YFC Show for the first time, and what a fantastic day it turned out to be. With glorious weather from the outset, the event attracted a great crowd and created a brilliant atmosphere.
Our stand was located on the corner of the entrance aisle, giving us a steady flow of existing clients and new faces from start to finish. Making its debut appearance, our wheelbarrow hamper proved to be a real talking point and attracted plenty of attention.
One of the highlights of the day was the positive feedback from clients who noticed our presence at the show for the first time and were genuinely pleased to see us there.
Away from the stand, Joe and Elyse enjoyed taking a walk around the YFC competition tents and admired the arts, crafts and baked goodies. Throughout the day, we were also treated to the sounds and excitement of the main ring activities, including the vintage machinery displays, tug-of-war competitions and the ever-popular hoedown.
Overall, the Young Farmers’ Show was a huge success. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with the local farming community, strengthen existing relationships, and introduce ourselves to potential new clients. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and look forward to attending again next year.
