As a valued client, you have helped us celebrate by continuing to refer and recommend friends to County. Over the course of our 35 year/£35 competition, we’ve rewarded 99 John Lewis vouchers to existing clients. Your continued support for County, our family run firm, is really appreciated and we’re proud to continue supporting you, your own family and your business even during these strange times.
The final part of the competition, and to celebrate the end of our 35th trading year, was a grand prize experience in Oxfordshire. After the recent pandemic, and in consultation with our winners, we’ve amended the prize to be a bumper amount of shopping vouchers for first place. We’ve also, after the unprecedented amount of entries received, decided to award a second prize of more shopping vouchers
Therefore, congratulations go to our Grand Prize Winners of Hinch Plant and Contractors in Stamford, Lincolnshire and to Central Cash & Carry, Milton Keynes.
Hinch Plant & Contractors offer groundworks to all, from private gardens to farms, stately homes to the film & tv industry. Headed up by Andrew & Allison Hinch, they’ve been operating for over 20 years and their work can be seen on a variety of programmes, including Call the Midwife through to latest James Bond films.
On winning, Allison said: “We’re over the moon to have won County’s competition and to help them celebrate 35 years. Like many we’ve had a very different trading year and this was such a nice surprise.”
She added: “We’ve been with County for a couple of years after we were recommended to them by a family friend. We truly value the personal experience we get and the time and effort they put into our business. All members of the team in the Farm, Business & Personal departments make us feel like a valued client and we can’t recommend them enough.”
After receiving the vouchers, Andrew said: “Thank you to all at County for creating the competition and for bringing a little joy to what has been a different year for many”
Central Cash & Carry offer discounted oriental food and ingredients to trade and public alike. On winning the surprise second place prize, Robert Fu, director, said: “I’m really pleased to have come second place and it’s great to see a business rewarding people even during these challenging times”
He added: “We joined as a client in 2015 and Mark has looked after us ever since. We feel we’re in trusted hand and are proud to continue working with this family run firm”
While our 35th year celebration comes to an end, we will continue to reward clients who refer and recommend others to us. More communication will follow on this when we’ve created our new recommend-a-friend scheme.
