We’re delighted to announce the opening of our new satellite office at Melton Mowbray Market, officially launched on 14th April 2026.
The celebration marks another exciting step forward for our family-run brokerage as we continue to support farming and rural communities across the UK.
Our Sales Director, Oliver Burns, was joined by Accounts Assistant Ann Burns, Trainee Account Handlers Ben Thomas and Joe Sydenham and Servicing Account Handler Becky Kooner to welcome guests on the day. The ribbon-cutting was carried out by Hugh Brown, CEO at Melton Market, who kindly officiated the opening. Several of our valued clients from across the county also joined us to celebrate.
Visitors enjoyed free breakfast cobs, hot drinks and a glass of Buck’s Fizz, with plenty of friendly conversations and a chance to learn more about the specialist cover we provide for farm and thatched property insurance. We were also joined by one of our partner farm insurers, who enjoyed a guided tour of the market courtesy of Hugh.
The launch of this new office strengthens our local presence in Leicestershire & surrounding counties and reinforces our commitment to personal, community-focused service – values that have always been at the heart of County Insurance.
