County were back again on our stand at the Thame Sheep Fair, which takes place over 2 days at the beginning of each August. It’s always a key occasion in the show calendar and a great opportunity to see a vast sale of sheep and to meet up with lots of our clients. County were one of the very first trade stands at the sheep fair and have been attending for many years.
Two extremely hot days which wasn’t the best for the sheep but did mean that our large marquee was used to maximum keeping existing clients and some prospective out of the sun. We had a good number of visitors to our stand on both days with the busiest time around lunch time, where people enjoyed the home-cooked Gammon Rolls & homemade cakes, from our very own Amy Cox.
The hook a duck proved popular as always with families visiting the sheep fair, raising funds for our partner charity this year, Churchill Partners, who are part of cancer research. Many people took part in our quiz and we were pleased to award the prize hamper to Rosie Manton.
The second day (Friday) was slightly cooler, with a breeze. The Out in the field team packed away after the sale closed and headed off for Blakesley Show.
